HAPPY BIRTHDAY AIDEN!!!!

Aiden turns 3 today! It is hard to believe. Especially looking at the pictures from when he was born. His party is not for another couple of weeks but he is officially 3...or as he says "free".

Doesn't he look like a porceline doll? I remember taking this picture...I remember how he smelled and the little noices he made. He seems so tiny but he was a big boy when he was born...8 lbs 13oz 21 1/2 inches long.

Happy Birthday Aiden! We are sooo proud of you!!!!

Make a Smilebox slideshow

Austin has fallen in love with smilebox...a hallmark creation. He has so much fun with it and through him I have played around with it and came across this slideshow format. There are so many options and you can pay like $1.99 and own your creation you can just take the freebie option which is what I usually do.

Anyway, we attended a birthday party recently and the boys had sooo much fun. I think the pics and videos speak for themselves. :-) Hope you enjoy!!!!

One thing I do want to point out for those of you that have known Austin...pay close attention to the last video of him in the bounce house. What he was trying to do was bounce on each section without messing up...the perfectionist in him...BUT notice when things don't go right he does not have a meltdown! SUCCESS!! He just says..."try again" and then starts over. He has to try a few times and for us I can't express the emotions we as parents have watching how he has truly grown. We remember a time when he would have tried once...messed up and then would be mad the REST OF THE DAY...seriouly....the ability for him to regulate himself in times like that is something we celebrate as parents of a child with Autism. Something anyone else would never pay attention to is what we take pride in the most....

OK, so I know I have not posted in like....well...a VERY long time. The boys are practically all grown up! JUST KIDDING!!! But it does seem like they are when I look at some of the old pics from last year. We have had a GREAT year so far. I am going to attempt to get all the photo albulms updated along with the videos. We have tried to do more videos now that we have a newer camera. Here are a few recent pics of the family. We were at the BG's on Mother's Day. I love it there and the boys had a good time too. I will have the complete albums posted soon. When I look at the last picture Austin just looks sooo tall. He has always been tall for his age. Now that the water parks are open I am sure we will be there lots & lots! It's funny how last year Austin would go down any slide you let him but this year he is actually nervous about some of them. There is one last year he went down over and over...and over but this year...nope....not willing. We think it is because he has a better sense of things...and apparently one of them is heights.
